Michael's journey began at the University of Passau, where he graduated with a degree in cultural economics. His passion for social engagement initially led him to Ashoka Deutschland gGmbH, where he served as Head of Venture & Fellowship and successfully oversaw fundraising and partnership management. A short time later, Michael took over responsibility for international program management, fundraising and partnerships at Ashoka. Through his commitment and expertise, he was able to make a significant contribution to the success of the organization.

His commitment to social projects is once again clearly demonstrated by his involvement as co-founder of nebenan.de. Michael has been part of the Amazon team since 2021. He holds the position of Europe Lead Education and is therefore largely responsible for the educational initiatives of "Amazon in the Community".

In this role, he focuses on promoting educational opportunities and strengthening the community through innovative programs.
