The teech Inspiration Days are entering their fourth round and will inspire tens of thousands of students from all over the DACH region from September 27 to 29, 2023. For the first time, Europe's largest event for career guidance and inspiration will even take place on site at Factory Berlin with over 4,000 students on September 29, 2023. One of the major highlights on the agenda is a pitch contest for students from all over Germany, with cash prizes worth over €20,000.
The teech Inspiration Days have become a digital event for career guidance and -inspiration has inspired more than 120,000 pupils from over 600 schools across Germany since 2021.
From well-known faces such as multi-talent Paul Ripke and bestselling author Sebastian Fitzek to the two wide-ranging creators Emilia Bartoeck and Younes Zarou, even Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama will be providing auteastic insights into a wide variety of everyday working life.
This year, the third and final day of the event will take place as a hybrid format for the first time, with schools experiencing the event both virtually and on site at Factory Berlin in Görlitzer Park. In addition to the opportunity to meet their own role models live on site, the highlights include a pitch contest presented together with trivago founder Rolf Schrömgens and his company brafe.space.
Whether they are technical geniuses, social visionaries or environmental changemakers, participants will have the opportunity to pitch their ideas in both the profit and non-profit categories in front of a renowned jury and compete with other talented students. A total of 10 finalists will be given the opportunity to demonstrate their concept in a classic pitch format in front of the jury and the audience on September 29, 2023. The top three finishers in each category will receive prizes with a total value of over €30,000 to help bring their visions to life. This makes the Inspiration Days pitch contest one of the most highly endowed competitions in its category.
Another important component of the event continues to be companies that, as industry representatives, are sending out a signal against the shortage of skilled workers, especially this year, by giving their employees authentic insights into their career paths and fields of work - both online and, for the first time, on site.
"With the Inspiration Days, we have already proven digitally that it was long past time to rethink the topic of career guidance and inspire young people at eye level so that they open up to it. This year, we will go one step further on site to prepare a festival for their future in an inspiring environment," say the teech founding brothers Joel and Emanuele Monaco.
The teech Inspiration Days are organized in collaboration with Factory Berlin and JMES World: On September 27 and 28, 2023, they will take place exclusively digitally, with over 4,000 young people expected at Factory Berlin at Görlitzer Park on the third and final day of the event. From there, the event will be streamed via the teech platform so that all schools can continue to experience the event.
