Corona has left many pupils with gaps in their knowledge of varying sizes. The demand for online tutoring is therefore constantly increasing. To close these gaps, Germany's largest tutoring provider Studienkreis and the young platform provider teech have joined forces. Their joint mission: to provide pupils with individual support in the virtual classroom.
teech was launched at the end of 2020 as a virtual classroom to guide schools through the pandemic. Last year, the teech platform was then used to host Europe's largest educational event, Inspiration Days, with almost 100,000 pupils and exciting personalities such as Michael Ballack, Nico Rosberg, heart surgeon Dilek Gürsoy, Sadhguru and many more.
In the course of the coronavirus pandemic, many students have developed learning deficits that pose a major challenge for teachers and parents - primarily because students' needs vary greatly. To ensure that online tutoring can take place safely and with high quality, Germany's largest tutoring provider Studienkreis has joined forces with the startup teech and is integrating teech's virtual classroom into its own online tutoring platform. The cooperation between Studienkreis and teech enables the approximately 120,000 existing Studienkreis tutoring students to receive individual support and encouragement within their own four walls - in compliance with data protection regulations and tailored to the needs of the online generation.
Studienkreis is one of the leading private education providers in Germany and, since its first steps in 1974 with over 1,000 locations, has guaranteed its customers a professional offer close to home, which is taking the next big step with location-independent online tutoring including trained e-tutors in cooperation with teech: Since the pandemic, more and more online tutoring services have been launched on the market, but now the established provider Studienkreis and the progressive EduTech are joining forces to combine quality content with modern web technology for digital learning and teaching.

Ideally in a familiar environment in which they feel comfortable - namely at home", says Joel Monaco, one of the founding brothers of teech. The individual support at Studienkreis is based on their scientifically sound learning concept with pedagogical principles that have been tried and tested thousands of times.
The cooperation will be officially launched during the first quarter of 2022.
