With our Inspiration Days exciting people talk about their personal lives. The participants' interest in entrepreneurship is very high. It takes a lot of courage to turn a business idea into reality. It is not uncommon for company founders to leave the conventional path or quit their job in order to realize their dream and set up their own start-up. The idea often has to be well received by investors in order to be realized. For this reason, on the second day of our Inspiration Days, we supported Pupils with a student pitch competition. Six student teams had the opportunity to present their idea to a jury in 3 minutes.
Our jury consisted of Rolf Schrömgens (founder of Trivago), Vian Feldhusen (founder of Ultra OOH) and Marcus Börner (founder of OptioPay, Rebuy). The student pitch competition was moderated by Fabian Tausch, young entrepreneur at Forbes.

NoW is an app for more sustainability with gamification elements that was developed by Lara and Adrian. Daily challenges for a more sustainable lifestyle with daily goals are mastered here. This "sustainability with fun" has even received support from Deutsche Bahn and came third in the pitch competition.
Florian Scherl, 16, presented the idea of Fast AI Movies before. This creates AI-based video material for companies using software, making film production for commercials much faster and cheaper. The user provides a photo and names a topic. Artificial intelligence classifies images according to the topic and automatically shortens text. The AI synchronizes the movement of the lips with the voice and text and incorporates gestures. Fast AI Movies took second place.
First place went to JuniorJob by Bersa and Celina and is a job placement platform with a focus on young people aged 15 and over. Pretty much every young person wants to be more independent, financially independent, gain work experience and spend their free time in a meaningful way, for example through an internship or part-time job, by the time they reach high school. After a long Google search, most young people give up, as there are only numerous portals aimed solely at older or professionally qualified groups, such as StepStone, Indeed, Monster or Zenjob. The job and internship search here is therefore very long and tedious, as there is no real interface to potential employers. JuniorJob already has millions of views on TikTok and 10 thousand comments
The jury was impressed: "In terms of professionalism, future viability and business model, we agreed relatively quickly. Although we were impressed by all the presentations that were shown to us today, the JuniorJob model convinced us across the board," says Vian Feldhusen.
The jury's evaluation criteria included the relevance of the problem, the appearance and confidence of the participants and the overall impression. They also assessed whether there was a market for the idea. The students submitted a proposed solution and answered questions from the jury.
The winner of the pitch received a one-year membership in the Factory for the entire winning team, as well as a connection to Nico Gramenz's network of investors, freelancers in marketing, legal, tech and other start-ups. Business Punk magazine interviewed the winners afterwards.
Other participants in the student pitch competition were Dominik Klepek with Grammario, an app with a gamification function for motivating language learning. Eike Czada, presented Architecture, "The innovative house simulator based on augmented reality". Leonard Darsow presented the MuseKIT app for creating videos with coordinated music without having to cut the music.
