Nicola Winter was Germany's second female fighter pilot, flight instructor and staff officer. Today - after a stopover in management consultancy and industry - she works as a project manager at the German Aerospace Center (DLR e. V.) and as a lecturer in emergency and crisis management at Carl Remigius University, is doing a doctorate in aerospace sciences and is studying for a professional helicopter pilot's license. Nicola is also a paramedic and the mother of a young daughter.
